This print was colored by hand using q-tips and various paints. I am very pleased with how much the color enhances the image and lifts the branch off of the background.
This image is one in a series of photographs that were taken within a few weeks time at Ridley Creek State Park in Pennsylvania. This image represents the simple beauty that can be found in nature.
Few things relax me like the sound and motion of a river. There is something serene, yet invigorating about the movement of a small river or stream.
An old tree's texture speaks of it's history. I was reminded of patterns in stained glass when I saw this tree. Another from the series taken in Ridley Creek.
This sculpture, created in my first figure modeling class, was shown in the school's annual art show during my senior year at Lycoming College.
A close-up of rocks at the edge of a river. I think watercolor has a great expressive quality. It can also be a very quick medium, which again lends itself to strong expression by allowing the artist to stay in the emotion of the piece.
I think pastels art a great dry medium. Their ability to produce a wide range of results is wonderful.
